National Make A Difference Day 2011 (Monrovia)

Everybody loves a hero, but it's time to bring some attention to the hero's much less appreciated and acknowledged side kick - Volunteers!  Volunteers may not have the chance to save a life everyday, but they intentionally donate their time and skills to make a difference in someone else's life.

Make A Difference Day is celebrated each year on the 4th Saturday in October. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, it is the nation’s largest day of volunteering, thanks to the passion of millions of people like you.  This year it was on October 22, 2011.

There were thousands and thousands of projects going on across the country and I just wanted to share what the youth of His Glory Community Church, and I did on the 500 blocks of E. Cypress Ave and E. Maple Ave.  Now go and make a difference every day!!
